Wednesday, September 13, 2023, wasn't just another day at Love Coffee, located at 15 Business Loop 70E, Columbia, MO. The bustling café witnessed more than its usual sharing of stories over cappuccinos and espressos. Dustin Davis of Love Coffee and Gordon Spainhower of Canine Companions hosted an event that showcased the extraordinary bond between humans and their service animals

New Partnerships: Known for their dedication to enhancing the lives of people with disabilities, Canine Companions paired three deserving individuals with their new service dogs. The joy and gratitude on faces was palpable as recipients embarked on a journey of newfound independence and companionship.
Inspiring New Puppy Raisers: The event wasn't solely about celebrating existing bonds; it also created new connections. Six attendees were inspired to become puppy raisers for Canine Companions, pledging their support to nurture and train future service dogs.
